The villa is located in the historic settlement of Zouridi, within the Municipality of Rethymno. Set at an altitude of 254 metres, this small and peaceful village forms part of a beautiful network of traditional settlements in northwestern Rethymno, including Argiroupoli, Episkopi, Roustika and Agios Konstantinos.
Surrounded by unspoilt countryside, the villa offers a tranquil setting ideal for rest and relaxation, while shops, supermarkets, traditional tavernas, cafés and essential services remain within easy reach.
Episkopi Beach, one of the finest sandy beaches on Crete’s northern coast, is only 12 km away. Its long stretch of golden sand is complemented by beach bars and seaside tavernas. The nearby village of Episkopi, located 9.5 km from the villa, provides a convenient choice of shops, cafés, supermarkets and traditional dining options. Additional amenities can be found in Agios Konstantinos, just 1.4 km away, and Agios Andreas, 7.3 km away.
The villa is also ideally positioned for exploring some of the region’s best-known natural and cultural attractions. Argiroupoli, approximately 13 km away, is renowned for its natural springs, small waterfalls and traditional tavernas set beneath magnificent old trees. Kournas Lake, Crete’s only natural freshwater lake, is 24 km from the property and makes a wonderful destination for a relaxing day trip.
The main Chania–Rethymno–Heraklion road is approximately 12 km away, offering convenient access to Rethymno Old Town, located 20 km from the villa, as well as to the island’s airports—Chania Airport at 66 km and Heraklion Airport at 102 km.
For those wishing to discover Crete’s southern coast, the area is also well connected to southern Rethymno, known for its crystal-clear waters, dramatic scenery and authentic Cretan tavernas. The nearest organised beach on the southern coast is Plakias, approximately 40 km away.

Widely regarded as one of the finest beaches on Crete’s northern coast, Episkopi offers clear waters and an impressive stretch of golden sand. Even during the summer, visitors can choose between organised areas with sunbeds and umbrellas or quieter, more secluded spots. Several popular beach bars and seaside tavernas create a lively atmosphere, particularly at weekends.

Georgioupoli Beach
With soft sand and clean, shallow waters, Georgioupoli Beach is an excellent choice for families. It is fully organised with sunbeds, umbrellas, lifeguards and numerous nearby tavernas. A distinctive feature of the area is the freshwater that flows into the sea, especially around the Perastikos River, where cool waters and rich vegetation create a unique natural setting. Extra care is recommended on windy days, when waves and currents may become stronger.

This extensive sandy beach stretches eastwards from Rethymno towards Perivolia, Platanes, Adelianos Kampos and Skaleta. Along its length, visitors will find organised sections with sunbeds, beach bars and water-sports facilities, as well as quieter areas for a more peaceful day beside the sea.

Panormos is a picturesque coastal village east of Rethymno, offering sheltered beaches and a relaxed atmosphere. Its organised beachfront and excellent seaside tavernas make it ideal for combining swimming with a leisurely meal overlooking the water.

Set within a scenic bay surrounded by mountains, Bali features several small coves with organised sandy beaches and calm, inviting waters. Visitors can choose among different bathing spots while enjoying the village’s wide selection of tavernas, cafés and shops.
The southern coast of Rethymno reveals an entirely different side of Crete, characterised by dramatic scenery, crystal-clear waters and beautiful natural beaches. Schinaria, Damnoni, Triopetra, Agios Pavlos and Preveli are among the area’s most memorable destinations.
The southern coastline can be reached in approximately 40 minutes by car. Most of these beaches are located near Plakias, a welcoming seaside village with shops, cafés and numerous traditional tavernas.
